The program ends with a valuable 4-week capstone course in which participants are guided through the creation of a final photography project from concept to completion.

Participants may take classes at times that are convenient for them. Our flexible, open enrollment format allows participants 18 months to complete all required classes in the certificate, and each class is offered throughout the year.

The program is for enthusiastic hobbyists as well as those who wish to supplement their professional skills in graphic design and photography. Jobs in the photography field range from highly specialized, technical work to jobs that require creativity and visual literacy. Possible careers include: photojournalism, portraiture, commercial, forensic, fashion, and nature photography.
