Mandarin Chinese III is a continuation of Mandarin Chinese II. The objective of the class is to further develop students’ proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. It aims to enhance the learner’s communicative ability in daily situations through intensive practice in listening and speaking. Expansion of vocabulary and basic sentence patterns will help students build a foundation for effective communication. This course is the continuation of Mandarin Chinese I, aimed at further developing basic proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Conversational and reading activities will focus on common social tasks such as shopping, eating out, making polite comments or apologies, etc. Aspects of Chinese culture will be introduced through communicative exercises. This class is suitable for those who have completed Mandarin Chinese I or those with rudimentary speaking or reading skills in Mandarin.
