Application Process Details
- Candidates must complete an application to enroll in the Emory Web Design or Emory Web Development Certification programs. There are no enrollment criteria beyond completion of the application and payment of the application fee. Registrations are accepted on an ongoing basis (there are not specific start dates for the program).
- There is a $200 enrollment fee to enter the program. The application fee pays for processing of the candidate’s application, tracking the student’s progress through the program, and access to Blackboard assessments for one year from the date of enrollment. Students enrolling in both the Web Design and Web Development certificates need only pay a single enrollment fee. Discounts do not apply to the enrollment fee.
- Candidates entering the program may elect to take Blackboard pre-assessments. By taking and passing appropriate Blackboard assessments, candidates may "test out" of up to two core courses in the program. If a student tests out of a core course they must replace it with an elective.
