Enrollment information

Students can expect to complete the program in approximately 6 months. The cost of the program includes tuition and all books and materials. We do not require a copy of your undergraduate transcript.

Please Read: Important Reasons to Consider a Co-Borrower

NOTE: If you plan to apply for a Sallie Mae loan, please begin your application process as soon as possible to allow adequate time for processing. Be advised that many programs sell out 6-8 weeks prior to the start date.

Students choosing Sallie Mae as their lending institution should apply for the "Continuing Education Loan" which is one of their "Career Training" loans. Please do not apply for the "Signature Student Loan" as this is a loan for degree-seeking students.

We are unable to register you in the program until payment in full is received, or until formal arrangements have been finalized for your loan. (This means all 3 parties have approved and signed off on your loan - you (and your co-borrower if applicable), your lending institution (e.g. Sallie Mae), and Emory's Center for Lifelong Learning).

Job Placement Assistance

Although Emory’s Center for Lifelong Learning does not guarantee job placement for any student, our staff and instructors work with local recruiters, hiring managers, and employers to keep students aware of local (and sometimes regional) employment opportunities.  These positions are often sent directly to Emory’s Paralegal Certificate Program administration for distribution to our students and graduates, but are not posted on the major job search websites.  In addition, there are several career development seminars built into the curriculum.  Students who are diligent about their career search and networking activities from the start of their program have consistently been the most successful at finding employment matching their career goals and interests.
