Six Sigma Green Belt Program Financing OptionsWhile Emory’s Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) Certificate Program focuses on quality of education, we understand that some people require assistance to finance their professional education. The program cost is $3995, which includes tuition, access to our online learning modules, an extensive course manual and all additional materials. For those seeking financial assistance, we offer the option of applying for a Sallie Mae loan. NOTE: Our programs are considered adult continuing education for non-credit (at a private university). As such, they are not eligible for funding through state programs including the HOPE Scholarship/Grant, or federal programs including the Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, Perkins Loan, GI Bill, Veterans Affairs funding, or any program for which a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) would be required. Sallie Mae LoansEmory University may be able to provide assistance to students in acquiring a loan from Sallie Mae for the program. The Sallie Mae website is located at www.salliemae.com/cel. To apply online for a continuing education loan with Sallie Mae, you will need the following information:
Students choosing Sallie Mae as their lending institution should apply for the "Continuing Education Loan" which is one of their "Career Training" loans. Please do not apply for the "Signature Student Loan" as this is a loan for degree-seeking students. We are unable to finalize your registration in the program until payment in full is received, or until formal arrangements have been finalized for your loan. (This means all 3 parties have approved and signed off on your loan - you (and your co-borrower, if applicable), your lending institution (e.g. Sallie Mae), and Emory University. |
